The only other SUV’s which can truly be compared with the Land Cruiser are the Range Rover and G Wagen.

this car is the best way better then lexus this is the legend since it was bulit

@euheide yeah i know range rover and lr4 are 3 different models.

@296jayce You have a good point there. I thought that the Range Rover was the Cruiser’s competitor :) Thanks!

@euheide well depends, a regular range rover supercharged, costs more than a fully loaded land cruiser, i built both, im only on colors for the rr and it already at over 95k and the fully loaded toyota is 78k. but a regular rr is a grand more. ppl here mainly compare the lr4 (discovery) to the cruiser. and a fully loaded lr4 is over 64k. so not as expensive as the range rover, but more than its REAL competition, the lr4. hopes that helps

@296jayce Does the Cruiser cost more than a Land Rover Range Rover in the U.S.A?

@296jayce by the way, the Ir4 is not a Range Rover, it’s a Land Rover Discovery. The Range Rover is segment above (better) in the Land Rover family. I’m was referring to the Land Rover “Range Rover”

@saboobuu you brush off pure fact with a “whatever” I’m done talking to you. I have explianed numerous times why Toyota/Lexus, Acura/Honda, Lincoln/Ford look alike. Stop bringing it up you do not understand that they are more expenisve becuase even though they are built on the same chassis they are VERY different. Toyota does not make one car that looks like eachother their lexus counterparts do. however they are much more advanced.. Please do not respond you are very irritating.

@geradetanz hahahahahahahhaha, youre funny

@CrashJSTest whatever, still, its at the bottom of the pack in the segment, if they arent rebadged, how come 90% of their cars look almost/exactly the same than their corporate cousin. sure they may have more features, but you still drive the same ugly crap that has a bunch of safety problems

@296jayce They are? Here in Portugal around 2010 the prices for a Range Rover started around 131 771 euros while the Land Cruiser from the same year could be acquired for about 73,500 €. Still very expensive but anyway…

By CrashJSTest on October 21st, 2011 at 12:53 am

@saboobuu it gets 28/35 don’t know where you got 20. And did I not just explain to you that they are not rebadged and when they are they are more expensive because they have a shit load of features?

@CrashJSTest sure, whatever, to each their own, and 20 mpg for a compact is horrible (corrolla), and toyota rebadge engineers most of their caars

@euheide what country were you talking about? because land rovers are cheaper than the cruiser in the U.S.A.

By CrashJSTest on October 21st, 2011 at 1:50 am

@saboobuu But they, have I just explained to you how each and every suv on toyota’s lineup is COMPLETELY different. If anybody is lazy its chevy with the tahoe suburban and silverado mix. And the camry and corolla are Toyota? what does that have to do with Lexus? They sell well because they are cheap, reliable, fuel efficient and sensible.

@CrashJSTest that’s not the point, i mean the designers are lazy asses who can’t thnk of different designs for their suv’s and just rebadge engineer their cars. the camry, corrolla, etc. score low on comparisons but sell well because it has a toyota or a lexus badge.

@296jayce I shouldn’t have wrote what I did because the prices depend on the country ;)

@euheide i built one on the toyota website, and a lr4 on the land rover site, the cruiser costs more.

By CrashJSTest on October 21st, 2011 at 3:20 am

@saboobuu so would you like to try again? because I still don’t understand why it even matters. Toyota does not make the same suv and rename it.. They range from small (rav4) to midsize (highlander, 4runner, fj cruiser) and Large (sequoia, land cruiser) but they all have different uses such as the 4runner is a mix of the highlander and fj cruiser while the higlander is soley for city errands and the fj cruiser is mostly off road same for the sequoia and land cruiser
